WHY FGA?
Building Excellence through Gymnastics
FGA is more than just a gymnastics program. We’re dedicated to helping children build important character strengths and life skills that will benefit them for a lifetime.
Beginner-Friendly Programs
We offer gymnastic classes that are perfect for children who are just starting out in gymnastics, as well as programs for students who are still at a beginner level but have had previous gymnastics experience. We also offer a more advanced tumbling and acro mini program for our older students and those hoping to try out for Cheerleading.
Building Friendships
We want our gymnasts to not only excel in their sport but also develop lifelong friendships both inside and outside the gym.
Small Class Sizes
Our coaches take a personalized approach, ensuring they understand the unique needs and abilities of each student, providing the necessary support and guidance for their growth and progress.
Life Skill Development and Whole Child Growth
Our program nurtures the whole child, helping them develop not only as gymnasts but also as well-rounded individuals who are prepared for success in all areas of life through a structured, yet Montessori style coaching method.
Our Process
What Should I expect in Growth for my Child
Please remember that your child’s growth and progress in gymnastics is a journey that requires patience, dedication, and a long-term perspective. We believe in the power of consistent effort and incremental improvements. Similar to the growth of an oak tree, it takes time and nurturing to reach new heights.
Gymnastics is not about quick fixes or instant results. It is a process that unfolds gradually as your child continues to learn and refine their skills. Each week as they enter the studio, they are taking small steps towards their goals, building a solid foundation of strength, flexibility, technique, and resilience.
By embracing the mindset of steady progress, your child will learn valuable life lessons about perseverance, determination, and the rewards of hard work. They will understand that success is not measured solely by the end result, but by the growth they experience along the way.
At Foundations Gymnastics Academy, we prioritize the whole child. The fundamental growth and development of your child is rooted in participating in our gymnastics program. You can expect to see significant progress and positive transformations in various aspects of their life through a montessori style spin on traditional gymnastics.
Physical Growth: Through regular gymnastics training, your child will experience improvements in strength, flexibility, coordination, and overall physical fitness. They will develop better body control, balance, and agility, which are valuable skills that can benefit them in other sports and daily activities.
Skill Development: Our qualified coaches focus on teaching proper technique and skill progression. Your child will learn a variety of gymnastics skills and routines tailored to their age and ability level. As they advance, they will master more challenging movements and acquire new skills, fostering a sense of accomplishment and self-confidence.
Emotional and Mental Development: Gymnastics provides an ideal environment for building important life skills. Your child will learn the value of perseverance, discipline, and goal-setting as they strive to improve their performance. They will develop resilience, confidence, and a positive mindset that extends beyond the gym and into other areas of their life.
Social Growth: Gymnastics classes offer opportunities for your child to interact and build relationships with their peers. They will learn teamwork, cooperation, and sportsmanship while cheering on their fellow classmates and celebrating each other’s achievements. This social aspect of gymnastics fosters a sense of belonging and camaraderie among participants.
Self-Esteem and Expression: As your child progresses in FGA’s opportunities, they will gain a strong sense of self-esteem and expression. They will discover their unique strengths and talents and learn to showcase and perform them.. This boosts their self-confidence and encourages them to embrace their individuality.
*While every child’s journey is unique, you can expect to witness remarkable growth and development in your child’s physical abilities, skills, emotional intelligence, social interactions, and overall self-confidence. At Foundations Gymnastics Academy, we are committed to nurturing your child’s legacy and helping them become the best version of themselves, both on and off the gymnastics floor.
